I was sitting one day watching animal planet with my dog curled up next to me. The animal cops had just rescued a mama dog and her babies from under a house. When my dog heard the cries of the young pups he leaped from the couch to investigate where they were coming from. He poked around the TV for a few minutes trying to figure out where the puppies were, he then went and retrieved his favorite stuffed animal and brought it back to the TV. As he stood there offering his favorite toy to help sooth the cries of these puppies it brought tear a to my eye and also a sense of pride that he wanted to help. After the tiny whimpers stopped he dropped his toy in front of the TV jumped back on the couch and placed his head in my lap as if he knew he had done something good. A lesson we all should take to heart it only takes a minute to help those in need.

Does time heal all wounds? I have wondered if we have been hurt and we move away from what has hurt us or done us wrong if by saying time heals all wounds if it really does? or does it only cover the pain and hurt with scar tissue? Does God ever walk away from us and say He needs time to heal when we do wrong?
Think about it if given the time to walk away does the pain really lessen? or are the thoughts and memory of who wronged us still there only hidden under the surface? if time in fact does heal all wounds, then why not take that time instead of walking away, with the person who committed such acts towards us? For in time we might be able to understand what it was that brought them to their actions against us.
Before you walk away for good, why not take the time, stand back for a minute and reflect on the person who wronged you, rather it be a family member or a best friend. And ask yourself these simple questions. Is this relationship worth throwing away all together? and will you honestly heal in time? or just simply mask the hurt? Could you of been in any way partially responsible for their actions towards you? If you walk away can you honestly say to yourself that you have done what you could to understand the situation and honestly forgave and forgot that person of any wrong doings? If so then……
Take the time to heal the wounds.
