Animals

Ok by now most of you know I have a dog and he’s pretty silly at times. I also have a bird which I’ve also mentioned on here who talks. Well sometimes these two are worse than kids. The bird being in his cage will taunt Chaze as he calls him to the cage. Once he gets close to the cage Grinch (my bird) will start laughing at him and calling him stupid. Thus in turn makes Chaze bark and then they end up fighting between the cage. The bird pecks at his nose and the dog barks and tries to get at him. they sit and do this for hours all day long. Drives me nuts sometimes although it is cute to watch.

So I went fishing with my friend and this was the results. Not only is fishing relaxing it’s also a nice way to be out enjoying nature. The fish wasn’t harmed in the making of this post and was set free shortly after.

Pets we all have them right? Well I’m no exception as I have a bird who’s a (Quaker) which is a small Parrot who’s name is Grinch because he’s green original huh?. And a dog Chaze who’s part pit bull and part no one knows…Anyways My bird is a talker he’s learned from me, bad mistake…lol anyways when he needs food he will continue to say “You need water?” over and over until you get him what he wants. For him it’s his way of letting me know he needs food even though he says water. Well as I sat one night watching a movie I heard him say “You need water?” and also “What you doing, huh What?” another of his favorite sayings I tried to ignore him but like always he kept repeating the same thing over and over until I finally got up. As I walked over to his cage to uncover him I heard him say “What’s your problem, huh?” another of his favorite things to say, so I went to take off the cover and was shocked at what I saw. For it wasn’t me Grinch was talking to but a mouse that had found his way into his cage and was helping himself to his food. Needless to say I since got him a different cage one that a mouse can’t venture into.

Dogs Lesson

October 6th, 2007 , 3:32 pm

I was sitting one day watching animal planet with my dog curled up next to me. The animal cops had just rescued a mama dog and her babies from under a house. When my dog heard the cries of the young pups he leaped from the couch to investigate where they were coming from. He poked around the TV for a few minutes trying to figure out where the puppies were, he then went and retrieved his favorite stuffed animal and brought it back to the TV. As he stood there offering his favorite toy to help sooth the cries of these puppies it brought tear a to my eye and also a sense of pride that he wanted to help. After the tiny whimpers stopped he dropped his toy in front of the TV jumped back on the couch and placed his head in my lap as if he knew he had done something good. A lesson we all should take to heart it only takes a minute to help those in need.
